This two bedroom/two bathroom comfortably furnished, air conditioned apartment is our holiday home, so it is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The kitchen has a washing machine and dishwasher. This is a duplex apartment situated on the first and second floor it has a spacious sunny patio with a large built in barbecue, additional private roof terrace and beautiful views. The apartment is furnished and equipped to the standard which we expect, as it is our holiday home. The apartment is very well positioned for access to all the amenities that Cabanas provides. The balconies are not overlooked and provide an excellent area for enjoying food from the barbecue. Our guests receive a warm welcome from our property managers on arrival. They have an excellent knowledge of the area that has become their home and they ensure that the apartment is maintained to a high standard for the arrival of each guest. Parking is available on the street outside the apartment no private parking space is available Living Room This spacious, air conditioning/heated lounge and dining area is comfortably furnished. It has a TV, DVD/CD player, MP3 Dock, free to view satellite receiver and terrestrial Portuguese Channels. French doors lead to the patio area. Communal Pool There are four pools accessible by security key Balcony There are two large balconies one accessed from the lounge and the other a roof terrace which provides private sunbathing. For your safety - The apartment benefits a video security entry system. All stairs are well lit with emergency lighting. There is a fire extinguisher/blanket and carbon monoxide detector in the kitchen. A smoke detector is situated in the apartments stairwell. The windows have electrically operated shutters for your comfort and security. Due to the nature of the apartments first and second floor location this apartment is not suitable for younger children. For your comfort - The apartment has dual air-conditioning units which as well as keeping you cool during the summer can also provide heat in the off season months. The apartment is non-smoking for the comfort of all our guests, please only smoke in the outside areas. There is no accommodation above the apartment, therefore you will not be disturbed by the noise of others above you, a feature of many other tiled apartments. Outside: The apartments spacious patio and roof top terrace both face to the south, so receive sun all day long. There is the choice of four shared swimming pools that are available during the summer months, they have landscaped gardens and showers in a secure gated area. Their access is limited to residents of the apartments and are accessed via security key card. There are car parking spaces at the front of the apartment. There is storage space for golf clubs and the complimentary use of two golf trolleys if required. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Stays of 14 days will include clean linen on a weekly basis which includes bedding and towels this is included within the rental price. Guests are asked to provide their own beach/pool towels. Other: The patio area accessed from the lounge has a table, chairs and large barbecue with outside sink, perfect for cooking the local fish. The roof top terrace is accessed via the patio and gives a perfect location for private sunbathing with views to the sea. The old fishing village of Cabanas has great restaurants, bars and local supermarkets all within 5 minutes walk. There is a local daily market that sells groceries, fish, meat and fresh bread. It is 5 minutes drive to Benamor golf course and two other courses are within 15 minutes drive. Located 3 miles from the quaint historical town. of Tavira and 35 minutes from Faro Airport. Cabanas has a stunning uncrowded blue flag standard sandy beach which is reached by a two minute boat ride. A car is not a necessity there are trains and buses that connect with local towns. Myself and my husband share a keen interest in walking, bird watching and golf. We enjoy using fresh seasonal produce and the markets and vineyards of Portugal provide this in abundance. We chose to purchase a property in Cabanas as we wanted a location with good access to restaurants and the sea without being over commercialised. We love to walk along the shore of the Ria de Formosa where many bird spotting opportunities arise. There are many good quality golf courses within in easy drive, these can be booked in Cabanas. Cabanas is easily accessible from Faro airport and has good public transport links which makes car hire optional. The nearby town of Tavira can be reached via a cycle track or provides a nice walk along the salt pans. Golf There are 5 excellent courses within easy reach of the apartment making it especially suitable for keen golfers. The nearest, Benamor is a 5 min drive from the apartment and is an 18 hole, Par 71, 6,017 yards. It is friendly to all playing levels as many of the par 4s on the front 9 are relatively short. Water comes into play on the 10th, 13th and 17th, finishing with a long par 5 with views of a pretty Algarvian church. Quinta da Ria is a 15 min drive, also 18 holes, but a Par 72, 6,700 yards. It has stunning views of the sea and mountains built on a flattish terrain. Quinta da Cima is again a 15 min drive away with 18 holes, Par 72, 6950 yards. Castro Marim is a 20 min drive and an 18 hole, Par 71, 6010 yards. A challenging course for golfers of all standards. Colina Verde the 9 hole Par 3 1145m is again a 20 minute drive. There are more courses to the west of Faro including Villamoura, and also many more courses just across the border in Spain.Less

Bookings are carried out directly with the owner. A 20% non returnable deposit is requested to confirm the booking. Full payment is requested 8 weeks prior to arrival along with a £150 security deposit refundable after departure subject to the apartment being left with no breakages and in a clean condition. Apartment address provided on receipt of full payment.
