There are many family attractions in Torrevieja and the surrounding area. The theme park of Terra Mitica is only an hour's drive away and there are numerous coach trips running there daily. There are many activities including water sports, horse riding, go-karting and scuba diving to name but a few. For the golf lovers amongst you there are three 18-hole championship courses within easy driving distance. On Fridays, Torrevieja hosts market day with approx. 1200 stalls set up near the town centre, selling clothes, shoes, jewellery, leather goods, food, etc.
