La Marina offers a relaxing holiday close to an undeveloped beach where the sound of the sea birds and the sounds of the waves are not drowned out by jet skis. Water sports are available in nearby Santa Pola, Guadamar and Torrevieja. There are a reasonable selection of restaurants and bars within reasonable walking distance and more further afield (details of recommended restaurants are provided in the villa). A car is not absolutely essential for your holiday, but is recommended in order to fully enjoy the surroundings area and to enable you to take advantage of all of the facilities the area has to offer.There is a bus service into Alicante, Guardamar, the nearby fishing port of Santa Pola and further afield to Torrevieja. A local bus provides commuting to the nearby beach during the summer school holiday periods.
