In San Luis,bars,shops and restaurants are within a 10-15minutes walking distance.Within the area there is a bus route that runs every half hour to the main shopping area, called the Habaneras,which hosts a large Supermarket called the Carrefour,the shopping mall has 3 floors of shops, bars and restaurants.The bus route will also take you to Torrevieja town and harbour wherethere are shops,bars and restarants,all year round market and fun fair and a lovely beach. The town of Guardamar is a 15 minutes drive away ,it also has a beautiful beach,one of the best in Europe,the town also has a good selection of shops,bars ,restaurants,and a lovely park with wildlife to look at as you walk through.Car hire is available from both airports,i would recommend booking with www.doyouspain.com,they are very reasonable,or if you decide to hire a car when you arrive at the apartment,there is a local company called Dickmans 10 minutes from the apartment,when departing for home, they will let you leave the car at your departing airport. People who hire cars from the airports,we will send you directions from the airports to the apartment.
