The Area Is A Haven For Those Who Enjoy The Water With Boating, Fishing, Jet Skiing And Other Activities All Available. This Area Is Also An Excellent Base For Day Trips To Other Areas On The Coast Including Sarasota, Clearwater, Naples Etc. In Addition The Everglades And The Island Are Only 2 Hours Away.

Myakka Nature Reserve is less than 1 hour away. The Rotonda area itself is a haven for wildlife including birds such as Heron, Osprey, Pelicans, Egrets ans Ibis. In addition other animals such as racoons, Armadillos, Turtles, Dolphins, Manatees and Alligators.
