South Orchard Cottage is situated in the Haut Languedoc Rousillon region of the South of France, at the foothills of the Black Mountains. It's a ruggedly beautiful landscape, famous for its wines and steeped in history.

South Orchard Cottage is set in 2.5 acres of an idyllic rural landscape on the edge of a national park. From the front of the cottage one can see horses in the valley, grape vines and the Pyrénées in the distance. At the rear are the Black Mountains.

The swimming pool area has plenty of furniture for sunbathing. There is nothing better than a dip in the pool after a long day of activities and sightseeing, especially if you've taken one of our walking or cycling tours.

There is a covered terrace and BBQ with outstanding views. Its a wonderful place to relax with a bottle of local wine when night draws in at the end of the day.
