Just 1 mile from the world famous Disney theme parks you have a wealth of options on your doorstep. Kissimmee has old town which for those among you who like historic cars its THE place to visit with quaint gift shops and very reasonable priced places to eat. If you like golf there are various mini golf courses including Congo and Pirates Adventure. Also for the kids because we all agree happy kids make happy parents !!! you can visit the Green Meadows Petting Farm where kids can have hands on experience with animals ,a nice touch after the fake animals they will have encountered in the theme parks. And if you visit in the summer where temperatures can reach 35 degrees a good option would be The Ice Factory , ice skating with music lights and food what more could you ask for ? Not fond of the cold then try the Jungleland Zoo with hundreds of exotic rare animals and see all your favorites like lions, tigers, and bears where you can feed the monkeys, talk to the birds and be at one with nature. All in all Kissimmee has something for everyone ,nightclubs and bars for the party animals out there ,shopping for the shoppers ,nature for those who crave quiet and solitude now and then enough different theme parks to keep the kids happy forever and the parents and grandparents stress free which at the end of the day is what a vacation should be all about.
