Our hilltop location is an oasis of peace and tranquillity 1200 feet above sea level totally fenced and accessed via electric gates overlooking the market town of Loule, only 10 minutes from the blue flag beaches of the Algarve and world famous golf courses and a 15 minute drive from Faro International airport. The mini holiday complex are a small family run cluster of self catering holiday accommodations catering for couples, families and the over 50’s. Loule has everything one would need from a holiday with endless restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, banks, shops, award winning traditional vegetable, fish & vegetable market, famous gypsy market, historical buildings etc. There are also three restaurants within reasonable walking distance of the accommodations. The accommodations are available all year round so that guests can enjoy the 3000 hours of sunshine the Algarve has to offer. We understand that with low cost airlines it may be better to travel on days other than Sunday or Thursday, so we are flexible with our arrival and departure days dependent upon already confirmed bookings. The accommodations are individual, originally dating back to the 19th century that was once a farmhouse and over the years has been thoughtfully converted to provide picturesque holiday accommodations. One of the accommodations is occupied by the owners who are there to help, but never infringe on your privacy. Our rustic home from home accommodations are furnished equipped and decorated to a very high standard, with great attention to detail visible in all the accommodations together with little personal touches resulting in good value for money special holiday lets and varied to suit all age groups. All the accommodations are south facing and all have sea views, have their own separate entrances, own kitchens, private south-facing sun terraces and BBQ areas. In all the accommodations there are a selection of puzzles, chess set, dominos, playing cards and a vast selection of English reading books. There is also free Wi-Fi Internet. Outside is blessed with panoramic sea views and spectacular countryside views, just what you need for a tranquil and relaxing holiday. The gardens, just over an acre, are marvellous and are a flower, shrub and fruit tree haven of peace and tranquility where you can always find a quiet area to read a book, relax and unwind. Added with the breathtaking views of the Algarve coastline by both day and night, this gives location oodles of character, uniqueness and creates a warm friendly relaxing atmosphere for our guests. If you are looking for a quiet, tranquil retreat away from it all, but close to all local amenities, The complex is perfect and is an ideal base to explore the Algarve whatever your age group. There is a large pool area; the pool measures 10 x 5 m and sun loungers, parasols etc are provided for the use of the guests. There are four accommodations in total, 1 large two bedroom accommodation and three one bedroom accommodations. There is also a large raised sun deck poolside to soak up the glorious sun and a freestanding hot tub spa jacuzzi for adult guest use. Children are welcome and there is a children’s play area with swings, slide, and seesaw on a large lawned area. For those guests that are a little more energetic, there is also an outdoor games area with a professional size table tennis table and a 14ft trampoline with safety enclosure. We also have three dogs and two pigs. For families travelling with small children, we can provide a whole host of baby equipment free of charge for guests staying 7 nights or more, being parents ourselves, we know what it is like travelling with little ones, and our aim is make everyone’s holiday an enjoyable memorable experience, not stressful. On arrival the owners will meet you and awaiting your arrival in your accommodation will be a selection of local goodies, compliments of the house for guest staying a week or more. For guest staying less than a week, or for guests staying on a special offer deal, a generous welcome hamper can be arranged for an additional charge of £20.00 GBP. For all our adult guests bathrobes are provided for use during your stay. Pool towels are also provided for the use of our guests, but guests are asked to bring their own beach towels or these can be hired from us, and in all the accommodations there is a hairdryer, iron and ironing board.
The Limao & Alfarroba casa areone bedroom accommodations, each sleeping two adults + infant. The bedroom is large with a double bed, digital security safe, and double doors leading onto the sun terrace. The bedrooms are large enough to accommodate a child's travel cot. There is also the optional extra of a mobile air con unit for the bedroom during the peak months. The bathroom has a shower, bidet, WC, washbasin and a shaver point. The kitchenette is modern and fully equipped with electric hob, combi microwave oven, fridge with freezer compartment, electric kettle, coffee filter machine, espresso coffee machine, hand held electric blenders and toasters. The lounge/dining area has a comfy leather sofas, a 32-inch LCD TV, Satellite TV with Astra free to view TV channels and UK free to view TV channels providing a total of 161 channels, DVD player (small selection of DVD’s) and a mini Hi-Fi stereo system with radio/CD player with MP3 reader (guests to bring own CD’s). There are double doors from the lounge leading onto your own private south facing terrace with table, chairs, parasol reclining chairs and a brick built Bar-B-Q. There is also also has a large awning for additional shade.
La Casita is the most private of all the accommodations available, a traditional one-bedroom cottage; the cottage with most character that sleeps two adults. Being part of the original farmhouse with its high sloping ceilings, this accommodation is always cool in the summer and warm in winter. The bedroom has a double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe. This cottage has a crow’s nest TV lounge with terracotta flooring, comfy leather sofa suite with footstool, 19-inch flat screen TV with Satellite TV with free to view UK TV Channels and Astra Free to view Satellite TV channels providing at total of 161 channels, DVD player, small selection of DVD’s, mini Hi-Fi stereo with radio/CD player and MP3 reader (guests to bring own CD’s), Logitech iPod speakers and spectacular views. The rustic kitchen dining area comes fully equipped with gas hob, combi microwave oven, large fridge/freezer, electric kettle, coffee filter machine, Delonghi espresso coffee machine, hand held electric blender and toaster. This area also has the original bread oven and stone sink dating back to the 19th century. There is a marvelous antique pine dresser dressed with traditional Algarvian pottery plates, bowls etc. for your use during your stay. The Algarvian mosaic tile topped dining table comfortably seats two people and with two traditional hand painted Portuguese chairs, these are a dream to look at, the craftsmanship is amazing. There is also a large wood burning stove that keeps the cottage very cosy during the cooler winter months providing 24/7 heating along with an eco-wall heater and one oil filled radiator. The bathroom has a shower with a tiled seating area within it, WC and washbasin with vanity unit under. Outside there is a completely secluded south facing private terrace with table, chairs, parasol, reclining seats and a brick built Bar-B-Q. This cottage also has its own garden area for soaking up the Algarvian sun in total privacy and its own spa Jacuzzi for the sole use of the guests staying in the accommodation. From the terrace you will be able to experience some of the finest sunsets the Algarve has to offer. Please note, due to the rustic stairs within this accommodation, this accommodation is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.
Casa Laranja is a large two bedroom accommodation, one bedroom with a double bed and the other with twin beds. The twin bedroom is large enough to also accommodate a travel cot if required. This accommodation sleeps a maximum of four people and one infant in a cot and is all on one level. Being part of the original farmhouse with its high sloping ceilings, this accommodation is always cool in the summer and warm in winter. The bathroom has a modern suite with a double walk-in shower, bidet, WC, washbasin with vanity unit under and shaver point. The large lounge area has a leather corner suite, 42 inch widescreen TV, Satellite TV currently with Astra free to view channels UK free to view TV channels providing 161 channels in total, DVD (small selection of DVD’s available) and a radio/CD player (guests to bring own CD’s). In the lounge area, there is a wood burning stove that keeps the whole cottage very cosy during the cooler winter months. The kitchen/diner is fully equipped and has a modern kitchen with electric oven, vitro ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, electric kettle, filter coffee machine, hand held electric blender and toaster. The dining table seats 4 people comfortably and has luxury leather seats. Outside there is a large south facing private terrace with al fresco dining table, chairs and parasol along with reclining chairs. Under the covered terrace there is also comfy cushioned seating. There is also a brick built BBQ. There is also a digital security safe.
Children are welcome and we do everything possible to ensure that families with children have a holiday that is both fun and relaxing. We understand that holidaying with children and babies can be stressful at times from deciding what to pack or not, to sleeping arrangements and protecting them from the sun. With children of our own we know how important it is to keep kids happy & entertained on holiday, within a safe & secure environment. The land is totally fenced & accessed via electric gates, so a very safe place. There is a lot of space for children to play and to discover nature. There’s a whole range of activities for young ones from the fantastic Zoomarine where you can swim with the dolphins, to Aquashow the best water park in the Algarve, Family Golf park in Vilamoura, karting and all the water activities on the fabulous Algarve beaches and highly recommended sea dolphin watching, a truly superb day out. The accommodations are all separated from the pool area; the pool area is enclosed & gated to give parents of toddlers that extra piece of mind. All the baby/toddler friendly accommodations also have fencing around their terraces for the added security. We have something for all age groups with a child’s play area available designed for little ones situated on a large lawned area. There is a slide, swings, seesaw, playhouse, toddler slide, toddler trampoline etc., this area adds an exciting dimension for all the visiting children & keeps them occupied for hours. There is also a seating area for adults to relax, unwind and top up their tans. For older children (and adults) we also have a Cornellieu professional size table tennis table and a 14ft trampoline with a safety enclosure. For babies we have baby paddling pools to use on our pool terrace or your accommodations private terrace and we have endless buckets and spades to take to the beach. We do not charge for children under the age of 24 months & can provide a range of equipment for babies and toddlers free of charge for guests staying more than 7 nights, meaning you can travel lighter!
